10 Simple Ways to Clear Clutter From Your Home and Office


There is nothing worse than spending ten minutes looking for something to do a job for three minutes.clutter and clear your mind. 

1 Hold the intention that the only three things aloud on your desk is a lamp, a small vase of flowers and a picture or two. That's it! When you get up from your desk to put everything else except these three things. 

2 Sort your mail as soon as you enter, then recycle, throw, deposit or answer. No batteries and no promise to happen next. 

3 Spend ten minutes a day of walking in your house with a big bag. Take at least three things in every room of the house that can be drawn. 

4 have a special menu read or basketball Sort through magazines or articles you want to read and tears articles that interest you and recycle the rest of the magazine. 

5 Make sure to order your e-mail so you never have more than 3-5 things in your box at any given time. 

6 project files created in Word to keep track of important things that you work. Designate a separate file for each project or approach. Can not find information when you need it. 



7 Shred unwanted office paper and use it for garden mulch, kitty litter, or light a fire in the fireplace. 

8 Learn to say NO. Or, at least, have the habit of asking one day to think about the request again. This will clear the clutter from your schedule. 

9 Make a rule that everything has a drawer, cabinet, basket, drawer or on a shelf, it is to put everything on the flat surfaces in your home. 

10 Write all the things that are running around your brain harassing you. Sort them into three categories.
